It was so neat today when I sat down and had lunch with a new friend. Its quite funny because we have actually been in classes together since freshmen year but for some reason never really talked. Recently a mutual friend invited both of us to this on campus concert and it was so fun and I felt like why have I never really talked to this kid before. Well turns out he has missionary parents and has lived all over the world growing up. It was cool because he had lived in Prague at one point. I reminisced on my enjoyable experiences while there and it was cool to speak with someone who had first hand knowledge of traveling the world. Someone who understood that America is different and that life outside of the USA is very different. It was just an incredible discussion and he spoke about how much change his life has always been and how it will most likely always be. Thats pretty much when I decided to write about him and about our discussion. A few things I learned:
1. You really don’t know someone until you talk to them.
2. Everybody has an interesting story.
3. Change happens in different ways in everyone’s life.
