What you are about to read may sound unreal, silly and against medicial odds. I have discovered a secret cure to my headaches; salty pita chips and cold water. Today I woke up feeling the twinge of a headache and normally the peppermint oil quicks in within a few minutes and lifts the headache. However, today, the headache stayed, even after I ate breakfast and lunch and reapplied the oils. I ended up taking some tylenol to keep the pain level down so I could focus enough to go to class. After a long day of test taking, study sessions and homework, my head still hurt. I slowed down my day and just sat on my big comfy chair and ate a few handfuls of salty pita chips. Then I begun to sip on some slightly cold water. Slowly but surely my headache lifted significantly enough for me to feel better, enough to write some blog posts and try to study for my next test tomorrow. Not too sure how it works, all I know is pita chips and water can really help make my day better!
