It is quite crazy when you hear only bad news all day. I ran across this article on facebook
and you can read the whole story…http://www.aish.com/sp/pg/Going-the-Extra-Degree.html?s=fb ..But the basic story is that an innocent man was killed for doing what was right and for protecting his students. This man really seemed to inspire his students with the mentality that you should go the extra mile. The difference between hot water and boiling water is one degree (at 212 degrees) and therefore the concept begins. If one simple degree can change the process of water to steam, which can then be used to power engines and more…it shows just how important taking the extra step can be, How impactful one extra mitzvah-or good deed, one extra smile, one extra high five, one extra second of holding the door can in the long run, really be. This is the butterfly effect-but today we will refer to it as 212 Degrees! Help carry on this man’s legacy.
