Saturday night, we made our way over to the famous Ben Yehuda Street. It seemed like a party outside! To start the evening out right, we went to Burger Boss and I tried a delicious kosher Lamb burger, it even had avocado, chimichurri and an over easy egg on top. It was messy goodness!
Then one of our Israeli friends showed us around and even showed us the book he authored. I went shopping with him and helped me to find things that would make good souvenirs for family and friends and helped me to not waste my money…since this was a very expensive touristy area.
The last few minutes I finally met up with these two friends from back in the states. Briefly caught up, took a picture and then I ran back up the street to our group. It was incredible-to be in a foreign country half way across the globe and yet here I am with two friends from the states, from a city away from where I live. Shows you also how small Israel makes the Jewish world seem. Thank G-d for Israel!
