I guess this is the actual last note for the night. Its something that I think about whenever I drive somewhere on the freeway. Especially on big *like 4 lane highways/freeways”. Its how constantly we (all the cars on the freeway) are moving forward. At some points we move fast and others it seems so slow or even stop and go. Quite incredible when you think of it. It again proves G-d orchestrating in this world and in the universe. People move in and out of the lane you are in and you might even switch lanes here or there. Sometimes you can take advantage of the carpool lane and other times you can just roll solo in the first lane. You can think you are in control. You can move the way you wish. You can take control when traffic seems coming. And other times, you just have to suffer through the motionless zone when accidents or construction seems to be taking place.
I feel like I did not realize how much this is an analogy for life. The Rascal Flatts song, “Life is Highway” fits right in.
I feel like the more I try to understand my life, the more I realize I know nothing. The more I realize G-d is in charge and has a very master blueprint for each of our individual lives. We don’t always understand the traffic or the nonsense stop and go but it happens for a reason to take us to the very exit which are journey is to go. Sometimes that exit is the right one and we are led onto streets shining in bright lights and other times, we get lost. We loose sight and we end up in a sketchy part of town. Sometimes accidents happen and screw/shake things up a bit. Sometimes though, we get all the green lights and G-d is happy to send us up along that road no problem. Those moments are great when what you want is what G-d wants for you. He wants you to take the best path to get to your destination. He will however protect, comfort, strengthen and lead you through those dark and narrow allies when life seems a bit unsure. When you are uncertain where you are and where to go from there.
What I seem to be learning is G-d is in control. I am asking for wisdom and I am first off learning that I know NOTHING!
I am grateful for this divine experience while writing and connecting to my Creator. Our Creator. Our choreographer and director orchestrating each and every lane of our lives and the cars which seem to surround or speed away from us. Rascal Flatts really said it best….
